Every great story starts with something simple — a mother’s love.
Back in 1999, in the quiet Lebanese village of Rabieh, one mother began baking cakes for her two children — not as a business, but as a way to fill her home with joy, warmth, and the comforting aroma of something made with love.
What started as a family tradition quickly became a neighborhood favorite. Friends and relatives began placing their own requests, and soon, the little home kitchen in Rabieh turned into a symbol of happiness for the entire community.
By 2009, what began with a mother’s whisk and an oven became a full-fledged bakery — the first Cakes and Cookies shop. From the very start, it stood for something pure: homemade taste, heartfelt craftsmanship, and a promise to make every celebration sweeter.
Over the years, that small shop expanded three times, growing into one of Lebanon’s most beloved bakeries. Today, the Lebanon team includes over 75 passionate bakers, decorators, and support staff, producing nearly 5,000 cakes every week — each one still made with the same care and love that started it all.
In 2021, amid economic uncertainty in Lebanon and global challenges that affected countless families and businesses, Cakes and Cookies carried its dream beyond borders — opening its doors in Dubai. The Dubai branch now employs around 20 talented team members who share the same passion and dedication that built the brand. Together, they serve more than 7,500 clients, including wedding planners, coffee shops, and large corporations who trust Cakes and Cookies to make their events unforgettable.
Through every challenge — from Lebanon’s tough economic times to the shifting global landscape — the brand has remained grounded in the same values that inspired its very first recipe: perseverance, trust, and love.
Today, Cakes and Cookies continues to rise, blending tradition with innovation, and bringing sweetness to thousands of moments — one cake, one smile, and one heartfelt connection at a time.
